Casper, Wyo. – A new candidate has entered the race for Wyoming’s soon-to-be vacant House of Representatives seat in Washington D.C.
David GiraltĀ is running as a Republican in the race to replace Rep. Harriet Hageman, as she campaigns for the U.S. Senate.
Giralt was raised in Casper and is veteran with twelve years of active-duty service including being deployed to Afghanistan twice where he earned the Bronze Star medal for leadership.
He is the fifth candidate to join the race including former state Superintendent of Public Instruction Jillian Balow, current Wyoming Secretary of State Chuck Gray and Casper business owner Reid Rasner, as well as former Cheyenne state lawmaker and Democrat James Byrd.
