David Giralt Becomes First Candidate in Wyoming At-Large Race to Sign No New Taxes Pledge

Casper, WY — Today, congressional candidate David Giralt announced that he has signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge, becoming the first candidate in Wyoming’s At-Large race to make a firm commitment to oppose any and all efforts to raise taxes on the American people.

The pledge, promoted by Americans for Tax Reform, is a cornerstone commitment for candidates who believe in limited government and fiscal responsibility. By signing, Giralt is pledging to Wyoming voters that he will oppose any net tax increase if elected to Congress.

“Wyoming families work hard for every dollar they earn, and they deserve a representative who will fight to protect that,” said Giralt. “I’m proud to be the first candidate in this race to sign the No New Taxes Pledge and make it clear that I will stand against tax hikes in Washington. We don’t have a revenue problem — we have a spending problem.”

Giralt’s commitment underscores his broader campaign focus on reducing federal spending, reining in Washington bureaucracy, and protecting the economic freedom of Wyoming residents.

“As Washington continues to push reckless spending, it’s more important than ever to have leaders who will draw a line,” Giralt added. “This pledge is a promise to the people of Wyoming that I will always put taxpayers first.”

Giralt is running for Wyoming’s At-Large seat in the U.S. House, emphasizing fiscal discipline, energy independence, and the defense of rural communities.
