Congressman and Retired Lt. General Jack Bergman Endorses David Giralt For Congress
CASPER, WY — David Giralt, Republican candidate for Wyoming’s at-large seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, today announced the endorsement of Congressman Jack Bergman, a retired three-star Marine Corps Lieutenant General, Vietnam veteran, and representative of Michigan’s First Congressional District.
“David Giralt is a proven conservative, decorated Army Ranger, and America First fighter who understands service, sacrifice, and leadership,” Bergman said. “After serving our nation in combat and advancing conservative priorities on Capitol Hill, he is ready to continue that mission in Congress.”
“America needs leaders who will secure our border, unleash American energy, and put hardworking families ahead of Washington insiders. David Giralt is that leader, and I am proud to endorse him for Congress.”
Giralt, a combat veteran and former Army Ranger, said Bergman’s endorsement is especially meaningful because of their shared commitment to serving veterans and rural communities.
“I am honored to receive Congressman Bergman’s endorsement,” Giralt said. “General Bergman has spent a lifetime serving our country and fighting for veterans. He understands the challenges many veterans face long after they return home.”
Giralt noted that Wyoming has one of the highest rates of veterans per capita in the nation and said expanding access to care for veterans, seniors, and rural families remains a top priority.
“Too many Wyoming veterans and seniors have to travel long distances to access healthcare,” Giralt said. “That’s why I’m committed to strengthening rural healthcare, supporting mental health services, protecting veterans’ healthcare, and ensuring families can access quality care close to home.”
“Whether you live in Cheyenne, Cody, Sheridan, Riverton, Gillette, or a small town miles from the nearest city, you deserve access to quality healthcare,” Giralt added. “Washington must recognize the unique challenges facing rural states like Wyoming. I’ll fight to ensure veterans, seniors, and families receive the care they need without unnecessary burdens or bureaucratic delays.”
The endorsement adds to growing support for Giralt’s campaign as Republicans seek a leader focused on veterans, rural communities, Wyoming’s energy economy, and conservative values.
